What to Expect in a Pure Grit Class

 

Every one of our Belleville CrossFit classes is a full-body experience. A typical 60-minute session is carefully designed to be efficient, effective, and fun.

  1. Warm Welcome: From the moment you step in, you'll be greeted by our friendly community and supportive coaches. We believe in creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and motivated.

  2. Dynamic Warm-Ups: Every class begins with a general warm-up focused on mobility, flexibility, and getting your heart rate up. This reduces the risk of injury and maximizes performance.

  3. Strength & Skill Development: We dedicate a portion of each class to building strength and refining skills. This could involve Olympic lifting, powerlifting, or gymnastics movements. Our structured programming helps you consistently improve over time.

  4. Workout of the Day (WOD): The heart of every class is the WOD, which is always varied and challenging. Our workouts come in various formats, including:

    • AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible)

    • EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute)

    • For Time (Complete as quickly as possible)

    • Interval Style (Periods of work followed by rest)
